Director's Update, May 14, 2023

5/15/202311 months ago

Former Board of Trustees Member Nancy Woods and Director of Libraries, Dr. McCauley

Dear Patrons,

A Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and caregivers!

Last week, the Library hosted a retirement party for Nancy Woods, a member of the Board of Trustees for twenty-five years who has had a tremendous impact on the Library. She was instrumental in getting the Main Library’s renovation off the ground. The celebration was a special time for Nancy, myself, and friends old and new to share memories and stories. I was also pleased to present Nancy with an official resolution from the City Council commending her for her years of service. She will be truly missed. Thank you, Nancy, and thank you to the Foundation for its support on this important evening!
