Alterspace is a new kind of reading room: a simple set of controls lets patrons decide on the color and behavior of lights and sounds in the space, adapting conditions for brainstorming, meditation, or quiet study. Created by Harvard's Library Innovation Lab and metaLAB with FK Productions, and with the support of the Knight Foundation, Alterspace will debut as a prototype from March 1 to March 4 in the Rossi Room. Come check out a different spatial experience at the main branch of the Cambridge Public Library!
