Staying independent is so important to healthy aging and physical activity is a big part of making this happen. Learn how staying active and eating healthy can help maintain mobility, improve cognition and perhaps prevent chronic disease and hear about proven results from a community-based trial in Somerville.
Dr. Kieran Reid is a Scientist at Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts and works in the Nutrition, Exercise Physiology and Sarcopenia Laboratory.
This event is co-sponsored by Cambridge Neighbors, Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center, Tufts University and the Cambridge Public Library.
