On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, the Cambridge Community Development Department and Human Rights Commission will convene a public listening session on fair housing in Cambridge.  All members of the Cambridge community are encouraged to attend this event to share their experiences with fair housing in Cambridge.

The information gathered at the listening session will help the City better understand barriers to fair housing.  Community input will be incorporated into an Analysis to Impediments of Fair Housing Choice – a component of the City’s 5-year Fair Housing Plan – so that these issues can be considered as part of planning for use of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding in future years.

The Fair Housing Listening Session will begin at 6 p.m. at the Citywide Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square.  Childcare and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) will be provided.  No RSVP necessary.
