Are you a Cambridge teen looking to explore your talents, expand your skills, and build community – while getting paid? Cambridge Youth Programs (CYP) teen internships are open to Cambridge residents ages 14-18. Participants will be paid $15 per hour.

Neighborhood Service Project

Ready to make change? The Neighborhood Service Program is an afterschool service-learning program where teens learn about design thinking. Teens identify a need in their community, design a project to address the need, and showcase their work to the community. The program is offered in partnership with the Office of Workforce Development.

March 13 – June 9 (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) at Moses Youth Center (243 Harvard St.)

Blooming into Womanhood

Young women will participate in a journey of self-discovery, create connections, embrace their strengths, and become agents of positive change while engaging in community projects.

Boys II Men

This leadership empowerment program is open to young men. Teens will learn about sneaker design, financial empowerment, success plans, media, and health & wellness. March 14 – May 26 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) at the Moses Youth Center (243 Harvard St.)

Virtual Voices

Young people will have the opportunity to design, produce, and create an original art production that combines poetry and theatre! G et ready for the LIGHTS, CAMERA & ACTION because this spring we are all about Drama!

March 13 – June 3 (Monday and Wednesday), Russell Youth Center (680 Huron Ave)

Game Designing

Learn about the theory and practice of game design! Topics will include illustration, sound design, animation, and creative writing. This internship is offered in collaboration with the Young People's Project and MathTalk.
