The Cambridge Police EOD/K9 Unit responded to Main Street and Wadsworth Street for an unattended bag on the bench. The bag was cleared by the K9 for hazardous items.

Cambridge Police responded to several calls for fireworks in the area of Harvard Street and Cherry Street. A firework had gone into a resident's house causing smoke. Officers observed two residents light off several fireworks and they will be summonsed for Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Possession of Fireworks.

Cambridge Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist at Mass Ave and Beech Street. The operator of the vehicle was cited for a motor vehicle violation and the bicyclist was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
