DPW offices at 147 Hampshire St. are open to the public, by appointment only. Appointments can be made by phone at 617-349-4800 or by email at Individual staff are also available for appointments outside of these hours as needed; please contact the office with the details of your issue, and we will coordinate with the appropriate staff member. Many DPW services can be provided online, and DPW phones are staffed 24/7 to respond to urgent concerns.

DPW Presidents Day Holiday Service Schedule

Curbside collections will be suspended on Monday, February 15, 2021 in observance of the President’s Day holiday.

Curbside collection of trash, recycling, and compost will be one day behind schedule for the rest of that week. Street cleaning is suspended for the winter season and resumes in April 2021.

Cambridge city offices will be closed Monday, February 15. The gates of the Cambridge Cemetery at 76 Coolidge Avenue will be open from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the holiday, however, the Cemetery Administrative Office will be closed.
