Expect Traffic Impacts around Harvard Square during Mayfair Sunday, May 15, 2022

Please be advised of traffic impacts due to MayFair in Harvard Square on Sunday, May 15, from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Rain date is May 22.

Road closures will be in effect prior to and after event to allow for preparation and cleanup.

Road closures include:

  • JFK St. closed to Mt. Auburn St. to Super Crosswalk
  • Brattle St. closed from Super Crosswalk to Appian Way
  • Mass Ave closed from Super Crosswalk to Garden St.
  • Church St. will be closed
  • Mount Auburn St. closed from Eliot St. to JFK St.

Detours will be in affect on Massachusetts Avenue southbound approaching Harvard Square, and other nearby roadways. Through traffic should seek alternate routes.

The 37th Annual Mayfair in Harvard Square features music, dancing, food, crafts, street art, and entertainment for all ages.
