Street cleaning resumes on April 1, 2019. Register to receive important alerts, including street cleaning and curbside collection reminders, snow emergency parking bans, crime notifications, and more from the City of Cambridge through its new online Subscription Center, including snow emergency parking bans, crime notifications, and curbside collection and street cleaning reminders from the City of Cambridge through its new online Subscription Center, CambridgeMA.Gov/Subscribe.

The Subscription Center also includes opportunities to sign up for project and program updates as well as newsletters from city departments, including the CityView Weekly, which features city news and videos, The Cambridge Life Blog, job opportunities, community events, and public meetings.

Make sure you are ready for winter in Cambridge by registering to receive snow emergency parking ban alerts by phone, email, or SMS notifications through the Code Red system in the city’s Subscription Center. The Code Red notification service will also be used for large-scale water outages and other significant weather events and service disruptions.

Stay informed throughout a snow storm by visiting the city’s newly redesigned Snow Center at CambridgeMA.Gov/Snow. The Cambridge Snow Center includes information on parking, city and school closures, services, transportation, property owner responsibilities related to shoveling, and more. Through the center, users can also report icy/unshoveled sidewalks, streets, bike lanes and bus stops directly to the Public Works Department.
