Schedule a Flu Shot at Drive Through Clinic November 14 at Cambridgeside

Getting a flu shot is especially important this year. Cambridge residents can get a flu shot at no charge at an upcoming flu clinic run by the Cambridge Public Health Department.  If you are seeking a flu shot, you will be asked to follow new guidelines and recommendations to support COVID-19 safety and health measures.

Flu shot appointments are required this year and can be made online or by phone. No walk-ins will be allowed.

To make an appointment by phone, call the City’s Flu Clinic Call Center at 617-349-9788.

 

Please Note: This clinic was originally scheduled to be held at Danehy Park but will now be at CambrdgeSide. This is a drive-through clinic that can be accessed by motor vehicle only through the garage. The site cannot accommodate anyone arriving by bicycle or on foot.

For Safety Reasons, this is a drive-through clinic that can be accessed by motor vehicle only through the garage. The site cannot accommodate anyone arriving by bicycle or on foot.

Only one appointment is required per car. Please fill out the information for each person getting vaccinated in the appointment form.

If you are able to, please print and complete the form(s) for each member of your household and bring them with you. Completing these forms ahead of time will allow us to register you faster and will help us adhere to safe COVID-19 practices. Below is additional information:

  • Children age 6 months and older can receive a flu shot at all flu clinics
  • Nasal spray flu vaccine (FluMist®) will be available for people age 2–49, while supplies last. 
  • High-dose flu vaccine will be available for adults age 65 and older, while supplies last. 
  • While there is no charge to the public for flu shots, people with health insurance are encouraged to bring their cards with them to the clinics so that we may bill your insurance.
  • Cambridge Public Health Department will not be able to offer flu shots at its office this year, due to the pandemic. Residents are encouraged to go to one of the public flu clinics, a local pharmacy, or make an appointment with their health care provider.
