Road Closures and Traffic Impacts from Cambridge Half Marathon

Please be advised of road closures and traffic impacts from the Cambridge Half Marathon Sunday, November 7, from approximately 7:00-10:00 a.m. The 13.1 mile USATF certified course starts & finishes at CambridgeSide. It is a fast & flat course through Cambridge featuring MIT, John W. Weeks Footbridge, Harvard Stadium, Charles River, and Harvard Square.

The Cambridge Half Marathon benefits the City of Cambridge Scholarship Fund and Cambridge Camping.  

Road Closures during the Cambridge Half Marathon:

• First St, from Cambridge St to Binney St (5:00am-12pm)
• Binney St, from First St to Main St (6:45am-7:30am)
• Vassar St, from Main St to Memorial Dr (7:00am-7:45am)
• JFK St from Memorial Dr to Mt Auburn St (7:00am-9:15am)
• Putnam Ave, from Albany St to Western Ave (7:00am-9:45am)
• Mass Ave, from Lansdowne St to Memorial Dr (7:00am-10:00am)
• Albany St, from Main St to Waverly St (7:00am-10:00am)
• Hingham St (7:15am-8:00am)
• Mt Auburn St, from JFK St to Putnam Ave (7:15am-9:30am)
• Portland St, from Albany St to Main St (8:00am-9:45am)
• Main St, from Portland St to Third St (8:00am-9:45am)
• Third St, from Main St to Binney St (8:00am-10:00am)
• Binney St, from Third St to First St (8:15am-10:00am)
