11/15/2017 3:25 p.m. Expect traffic delays on Sunday, Nov. 19, starting at 7:30 a.m. in Kendall Square, Central Square, Riverside & Cambridgeport during the 2017 Cambridge Half Marathon (Course Time Limit: 3 hours). The event will also impact MBTA bus service along the route. The 13.1 mile race starts at CambridgeSide, heads west through MIT & Harvard to No Beacon St. bridge in Watertown, then back along the Charles River to finish line in Canal Park. More details »

Resident Parking Permit Renewal for 2018 Now Available

Cambridge residents are encouraged to renew their 2017 Resident Parking Permits early and online, prior to the expiration date of January 31, 2018.  Residents who have previously applied for and received either a Resident Parking Permit or Visitor Parking Permit have the option of renewing their permit(s) online by visiting the RPP Renewal Website here.  

In order to ensure that you receive your 2018 Resident Permit(s) prior to February 1, 2018, please apply by mail postmarked no later than January 12, 2018 or online no later than January 17, 2018.
