Community Bike Ride Saturday June 23

caution sign The information on this page may be outdated as it was published 5 years ago.

Join the Cambridge Bicycle Committee on Saturday, June 23 for a leisurely ride through the streets of Cambridge. The theme of this spring's bike tour is an exploration of architecture in Cambridge, passing sites associated with famous and historically interesting architecture. Please arrive between 9:00-9:30 AM to get free minor tune-ups from on-site mechanics and start assembling for the ride. The ride will leave promptly at 10:00 AM. There is no registration or charge for the tour -- just show up and enjoy!

We will start at the Cambridge Public Library Main Branch with a brief introduction. The ride itself will take about two hours and will include a few short stops along the way related to the ride's theme. We'll be escorted by the Cambridge Police Department's Bike Patrol. The ride will end back at the Cambridge Public Library with a light lunch supplied by our food and beverage donor, Bon Me. There will also be a raffle for special prizes from the Cambridge DPW and Ward Maps.

More information about the ride and rides from previous years can also be found at cambridgebikes.org.
