The resident states he has not filed for unemployment benefits at this time.

A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect acquired her personal identifying information and opened a fraudulent checking account in her name. The victim states she received a letter from a bank informing her of the newly opened account. The victim states she did not open this new account with this bank.

A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect called her cell phone claiming to be investigating an open criminal case against her. The suspect stated the US Marshals were involved in the investigation and she needed to provide her social security number and date of birth. The victim provided this suspect with the requested information and the call was ended.

This suspect stated the victim’s social security number was going to be suspended and he requested the victim’s personal information to prevent the suspension. The victim provided all of the information that was requested by the suspect.

Cambridge Police responded to a disturbance in Carl Barron Plaza. Several people and a victim stated that a female shoved a woman to the ground. Lynne Walsh, 58, homeless, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery on 60 Years or Older/Disabled.

Cambridge Police responded to a report of a male slashing tires in a parking lot in Memorial Drive. As a result of this call, Shawn Cook, 42, homeless, was placed under arrest and charged with Malicious Destruction to a Motor Vehicle after being observed by the reporting party slashing tires and positively identified by the victim and reporting party.

Cambridge Police arrested Thomas Bavis, 50, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, for Aggravated Assault and Battery of a Person 60 Years or Older after Bavis pushed a women over 60 years old to the ground following a verbal altercation.
