Upon investigation, Officers gathered information from a named witness and determined that Devin Simon, 29, homeless in Cambridge, violated Defacement of real or personal properties by ripping off posters on the windows of a store and indecent exposure of genitalia by urinating in public way in the presence of general public.

A Cambridge Street resident reported a break-in to his motor vehicle on September 10, 2021 at approximately 6:10 p.m.. A suspect opened an unlocked door of his vehicle while it was parked inside the garage at Water Street at approximately 4:30 p.m. The suspect stole a bag of prescription medications and another containing food and drinks.

Cambridge Police responded to a local business establishment on Hampshire Street for a person with a gun. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a possible firearm was displayed during an attempted larceny of a motor vehicle. Additionally, one of the victim's cell phones was taken by the suspects. The suspects fled the area prior to the arrival of Cambridge Police and were last seen headed in the direction of Somerville on Prospect Street in a motor vehicle. Subsequently, Officers obtained statements and a report was taken.
