ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Kim Daley, 51, homeless out of Boston, was arrested for unarmed robbery. Daley entered a bank located at Alewife Brook Parkway and showed a bank teller a note informing them that they were being robbed. Daley fled the scene, however officers were able to locate him a short time later. A show up identification was conducted at which point Daley was positively identified as the suspect. It was later discovered that Daley was an escaped fugitive from justice. A detainer for extradition was documented on his behalf.

Cambridge Police Officers were on routine patrol in the area of Essex Street at Bishop Allen Drive. Officers observed a motor vehicle traveling down Essex Street toward Bishop Allen Drive with a defective rear right taillight. Officers at this point conducted a motor vehicle stop of the vehicle. During the stop, it was concluded that along with the defective taillight, the vehicle in question also currently had a registration status of revoked. As a result of the stop, a Brockton resident was issued a criminal application for Operating a Motor Vehicle after Registration Revocation and Defective Equipment.

FIRST ST
Cambridge Police were dispatched to the area of First Street and Hurley Street after receiving multiple calls for gun shots. On location, witnesses positively identified Kent Burns, 21, 1430 Tremont Street in Boston, as being involved in the shooting. After a thorough investigation, Burns was arrested and charged with Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Discharging of a Firearm with 500 Feet of a Building.
Another resident – Lennox Pierre-Louis, 20, 44 John Elliot Square in Boston -- was taken into custody by the Somerville Police following a car crash on the McGrath Highway and a foot chase. A second person in the vehicle was also observed leaving the motor vehicle crash. Pierre-Louis was arrested for Armed Assault to Murder, Assault and Battery Atempt with a Firearm, Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Carrying a Firearm without a License, Trafficking Cocaine, Leaving a Firearm in a Vehicle, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury.

Cambridge Police while investigating a motor vehicle crash with injuries at DeWolfe Street and Mt. Auburn Street, Officers acted quickly and stopped traffic on Mt. Auburn Street as officers on scene observed a group of teenagers on bikes traveling toward oncoming traffic intentionally and recklessly weaving through vehicles. As a result, officers stopped and directed several youths on bikes to safety and informed them of the hazards and danger they created for themselves and others.
