Sidewalk Poetry Contest: Get Your Words Immortalized In Concrete!

The City of Cambridge is seeking poems for its fifth annual Sidewalk Poetry Contest. Winning poems will be imprinted into the fresh concrete of new sidewalks around the city beginning in fall 2019.

Cambridge residents of any age are invited to submit one poem of their own work to the 2019 Cambridge Sidewalk Poetry Contest by March 10, 2019. This year we are especially interested in poems that speak to the theme of climate change.

For full entry guidelines and more information about the project, visit cambridgema.gov/sidewalkpoetry or contact Cambridge Arts at sidewalkpoetry@cambridgema.gov, 617-349-4390 (voice) or 617-492-0235 (tty).
