Federal Government Launches New Ways to Find & Get Vaccines Near You

caution sign The information on this page may be outdated as it was published 2 years ago.

Beginning this week, the President is directing all federal pharmacy partners to begin to provide walk-in hours. You’ll soon be able to get vaccinated without an appointment at the vast majority of the 40,000 pharmacy locations participating in the Federal Retail Pharmacy Partnership Program for COVID-19 Vaccination across the country, including many CVS, Walgreens, and other local pharmacy locations.

For those having trouble finding a location or making an appointment, the federal government has launched a simple website where you can find a vaccination location closest to you. That site is available at www.vaccines.gov to find a location to get the shot and make an appointment.

For those who prefer texting, you can now text your zip code to 438829. You will get a text back with the locations nearest you with vaccines in stock.
