Cambridge Police responded to a disturbance on Huron Avenue between a bicyclist and another bicyclist. The responding officers determined that there was a crash between two bicyclists. One of the bicyclists complained of a leg injury and was transported to a local hospital by an ambulance.

Officers responded to a victim of an assault and were trying to treat him. A male suspect would not leave the victim or EMS alone and refused to leave the area. During the incident, the suspect pushed an officer and then took a swing at him. Lewis Hernandez, 45, 334 Massachusetts Ave in Boston, was arrested for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.

Gary Caddet, 47, 39 Boylston Street in Boston, was placed under arrest for By-Law or Ordinance Violation Drinking or Possession of Alcohol in Public. Caddet was arrested after officers actively observed him drinking from an open container of alcohol at Carl Barron Plaza.

Officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue address to assist Harvard University Police. It was determined that Jesse Motta, 49, unhoused, had brandished a knife towards the victim and demanded the victim give him his pack of cigarettes. Motta was placed under arrest and is being charged with Armed Robbery. It was also discovered there were two warrants for Motta's arrest.
