Cambridge Police were conducting a routine directed patrol in the area of Main Street. An officer observed a motor vehicle in the area and conducted a traffic stop after an inquiry resulted that the owner/operator currently had a suspended Massachusetts Driver's License. As a result, Cartrell Solomon, 28, 43 Spring Avenue in Brockton, was placed under arrest for operating after license suspension.

COLUMBIA ST
Cambridge Police were conducting patrol in the area of Broadway and Columbia Streets. Officers observed a motor vehicle in the area and conducted a traffic stop after witnessing the operator fail to yield for a red light. During the motor vehicle stop, it was determined that the registration was revoked for insurance. The operator of the vehicle also had a license status of expired - nonrenewable. As a result, the Watertown resident was issued a summons for Uninsured Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Failure to Stop/Yield.
