Cambridge Police, Cambridge Fire, and Professional Ambulance responded to the 70 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a crash involving a bicyclist. The bicyclist merged onto a sidewalk in order to avoid being struck by a bus operator and crashed. The bicyclist was treated on site and then transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Cambridge Police officers were dispatched to Broadway for the report of an intoxicated male. Upon arrival units spoke with the intoxicated party and asked him to leave the residence. While collecting his belongings, the party lifted a blanket to bring with him when Officers spotted a nearly empty vodka bottle. When an Officer reached to inspect the bottle, the party shouldered the Officer out of the way to protect his vodka. Officers then placed the male under arrest. Anwar Saeed, 21, 267 Broadway in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.

Dionne Person, 41, 889 Harrison Avenue in Boston, was arrested for Trespassing. A concerned resident reported that Person was consuming an alcohol beverage while sitting in dining area of a store located at Massachusetts Avenue.Person was asked to vacate the premises by the manager and police multiples times. She became irritated and uncooperative and then stated that she was not going anywhere and refused to leave her seat. Subsequently, she was advised that she was being placed under arrest for Trespassing.

Cambridge Police responded to the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Memorial Drive after a Be on the Look Out was given out for a motor vehicle that was stolen out of Cambridge. The victim and owner of the vehicle was with Cambridge Police Officers and actively tracking the vehicle through a real time vehicle GPS tracker. Officers observed the vehicle operating westbound on Massachusetts Avenue. The vehicle was stopped and the operator and front passenger were removed and placed in handcuffs. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Sean Kenney, 52, homeless of Cambridge. The front passenger was identified as Christopher Reed, 37, homeless of Cambridge. Prior to being transported to Cambridge Police Headquarters, a protective search of both parties was conducted. During the search of Reed, a white rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine was discovered in the front coin pocket of his pants. Reed and Kenney were subsequently transported to Cambridge Police Headquarters. After the defendants were transported, the victim was reunited with their motor vehicle. At this time, it was discovered that a hole was put in the back seat while the vehicle was stolen. Also, four foam flowerpot holders valued at $100 each, two magnet advertisements valued at $50 each and a company iPhone were missing from the vehicle. The iPhone was recovered in Reed's front right jacket pocket. The other items were never recovered. It would later be discovered that Kenney's license status was revoked at the time of his arrest. After investigation, it was determined that Kenney would be charged in Cambridge District Court with Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property, Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with Revoked License. Reed will be charged in Cambridge District Court withReceiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property, Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of a Class B Drug.
