When entering the lobby of the residence, a visitor kicked a temporary containment wall within a construction area of the building causing damage in officer's presence. As a result, Gustavo Backoff, 25, San Pedro Garza, Mexico, was placed under arrest and was charged with Vandalizing Property.

Jose Luis Rodriguez, 33, 502 Olde Derby Road in Norwood, was arrested after refusing to leave the premises of a tavern located at JFK Street after being told by the manager that he was no longer allowed to remain on their property. While being placed under arrest, Rodriguez tried to prevent officers from placing handcuffs on him by flailing and tucking his arms underneath his body. Rodriguez also punched a police officer in the face during the struggle. Rodriguez was charged with Trespassing After Notice, Resisting Arrest, and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.

The motor vehicle was left unlocked, unattended, and running while the reporting party entered the convenience store. When the reporting party exited the store, the motor vehicle was gone.

Cambridge Police responded to a department store located at Alewife Brook Parkway for a report of two suspects currently shoplifting in the store. Upon police arrival, staff pointed out 1 of 2 suspects were still on scene at the time, Keyonna Slater, 30, Schenectady, New York. Slater was ultimately placed under arrest after merchandise was recovered around the store that was in their possession prior our arrival. Staff on scene recovered the merchandise and totaled it to $736.14. Also recovered along with the merchandise was a piece of aluminum foil that is commonly used to deactivate sensors that are attached with merchandise when exiting the store. The merchandise that was recovered also had the theft detection sensors removed from them. Slater was placed under arrest on scene and will be charged with 1 count of Unlawful Deactivation or Removal of Theft Detection, Aggravated Organized Retail Crime, and Larceny Under $1,200.

The Everett resident was issued a criminal application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
