The bicyclist and their passenger were transported to a local hospital and the motorist was cited for a right hook violation.

05/08/202315:18 INCIDENT23003962 SHOPLIFTING BY CONCEALING MDSE C266 S30A	MASSACHUSETTS AVE While conducting regular patrol in Central Square, the Cambridge police were informed of a past shoplifting that occurred at a store. As a result, a police report was taken.

Upon arrival, responding officers spoke with all parties involved where it was learned that an individual who was riding a bicycle made contact with a motor vehicle in the same lane of traffic causing the bicyclist to fall to the ground. No reported injuries were on scene.
