Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Hampshire Street at Webster Avenue after observing the vehicle operating without its rear lights illuminating along Portland Street. Further investigation revealed that a Cambridge resident was operating a motor vehicle on a public way in the City of Cambridge with a suspended license. As a result, he will be summonsed for Operating after Suspension and Brake Lights Violation.

Cambridge Police placed Garry Cadet, 48, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, under arrest for drinking in public and disorderly conduct. Cadet was visibly intoxicated, smelled of alcohol, and drinking a brown fluid from an Gatorade Green Apple flavored bottle. Unprovoked, he started yelling and cursing at officers in a public area of Central Square. Cadet kept insisting at yelling at officers in a hostile fashion where onlookers became concerned and had trouble utilizing the sidewalk where Cadet was causing a scene. He was told for a third time by the reporting officer to pour out the alcohol that he could smell and calm down, but Cadet refused. He then started drinking the alcohol in front of officers and was then placed under arrest for drinking in public and disorderly conduct.
