CAMBRIDGE ST
Cambridge Police received a call for an assault with a dangerous weapon that occurred at a Cambridge Hospital. Victims stated that a female patient in a unit began charging her and produced a sharp metal top of a soup can toward the victim. The victim, in fear, quickly ran behind the staff desk and into a locked room. Another staff member witnessed what was going on and tried to get her body in the way of the suspect. The suspect ran her over and was finally subdued by multiple staff members. When officers arrived, the suspect was already heavily sedated, restrained and could not clearly state what had occurred. The suspect – a resident of Everett - was summonsed for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery.

FAWCETT ST
CPD responded to a motor vehicle crash after an investigation police learned one of the operators did not have a license to drive. A resident of Randolph was issued a citation and summonsed into court for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He was identified on scene as the operator of one of Box Trucks involved in the crash and not presenting a Driver’s License.

WARRANT ARREST REPORT

Allyn Fye, 37, unhoused, was arrested at a Central Square business on an arrest warrant as well as Possession of a Class A Substance - Fentanyl and Refusal to Identify Self. Fye was suspected of shoplifting from the business in the past and upon being stopped by officers, he initially provided a false name and date of birth. He then refused to identify himself after it was determined that the information provided was not his true identity. Once officers were finally able to positively identify him, it was determined that he had an arrest warrant out of Plymouth District Court, which charged him with Breaking and Entering with the Intent to Commit a Misdemeanor and Refusal to Identify Self. A subsequent search of his person revealed a small package containing suspected Fentanyl.

A resident of Malden was issued an application for criminal complaint for Discharging a BB Gun on a Public Way, Carrying a Gun on Campus (BB gun), and Disturbing the Peace. Cambridge Police responded for a person with a gun call on Wendell Street. ECC reported the there was a male shooting the BB gun out of a car window. The vehicle was located behind Wendell Street on campus property with multiple people adjacent to the vehicle, including the Malden resident, who was wearing clothing that matched the description provided by witnesses.

Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Green Street and Magazine Street for a report of a stabbing. The victim was treated on scene and transported to a local hospital. While investigating the stabbing, officers located a suspect matching the description provided and Regan Tims, 46, unhoused in Cambridge, was charged with Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).

UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV C90 S10

CENTRAL SQ
Cambridge Police made a traffic stop at Central Square. As a result of the stop, Derrieck Gates, 24, 46 Clantoy Street in Springfield, was placed under arrest for unlicensed operation of motor vehicle as well as operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked registration. Gates was observed operating a motor vehicle on Green Street. A query of the vehicle returned a status of a revoked registration. A motor vehicle stop was conducted at Central Square where Gates informed officers that he did not possess a Massachusetts driver’s license and proceeded to provided a false name. Once in the booking room, Gates' identity was revealed as well as outstanding warrants from multiple districts.
