Expect traffic impacts in Harvard Square and the Port due to community events on Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26.

These events include:

  • The Harvard Square Business Association will host “Pit-Palooza” on Saturday, June 25, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event celebrates "The Pit” and its history in Harvard Square and will include food and music. Dunster Street will be closed from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • The Cambridge Department of Public Works will host Arts in the Park at Clement Morgan Park on Saturday, June 25, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy free performances, tastings, interactive exhibits, children’s games, and interactive art activities. The event will include a closure of Columbia Street (between Bishop Allen Drive and Washington Street) and Pine Street (between School Street and Washington Street) between noon and 6 p.m.

Porter Square Traffic Impacts: There may also be ongoing traffic impacts in the Porter Square area due to median and overhead wire removal work. Click here to learn more.
