The Run to Home Base 5K begins at Fenway Park, goes to Massachusetts Avenue, crosses the Harvard Bridge, crosses Memorial Drive to Vasser Street, and reverses, following the same route to return.

The Run to Home Base 5K and 9K road races will take place on Saturday, July 30, between 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. Expect traffic delays along Massachusetts Avenue and Memorial Drive near the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Both races begin in Boston and cross into Cambridge over the Mass Ave Bridge. 

Expect road closures at the following locations:

  • Massachusetts Avenue between Vassar Street and Memorial Drive
  • Mass Ave Bridge
  • Memorial Drive between the Longfellow Bridge and Boston University Bridge

All roads will reopen by 10 a.m.
