Cambridge City Hall

Could your photo be featured on thousands of vehicles throughout Cambridge? Submit an original photograph by September 15 and it could be chosen for Cambridge's 2023 Resident Parking Permits.

Photographers of all experience levels are invited to submit their digital photos using this form. Enter by Thursday, September 15 to be considered.

Each year, the City of Cambridge Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department accepts digital photos showing city buildings, landmarks, and the beauty of Cambridge. The winning photo will be featured on the 2023 Resident Parking Permit and in the resident parking brochure. Other submissions may be featured, with credit, on the City website and other materials.

Past permits have featured:

  • Cambridge City Hall (2022) by Kyle Klein (featured image on this story)
  • The Cambridge Rindge and Latin School sign (2021) by Mark Hornbuckle
  • Little Fresh Pond (2020) by Judy Silvan

Photo Guidelines:

  • We will only consider photos that are taken in Cambridge.
  • We prefer photos that do not include people -- please, no portraits or selfies.
  • We prefer photos that show buildings/property owned or controlled by the City of Cambridge.
  • For best chances of being chosen, upload a high-resolution image.

Selection Information:

  • The City will only select one photo.
  • By submitting your photo, you give the City of Cambridge the right to use the photo for any purpose.
  • If you provide an email address, we will send you a confirmation email on receipt. Otherwise, we will only contact you if we select your photo for the 2023 Resident Parking Permit.
