Expect traffic impacts and road closures from community events in Harvard Square and along Massachusetts Avenue on Sunday, October 9.
The HONK! Parade will travel from Davis Square in Somerville to Harvard Square along Massachusetts Avenue between noon and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Expect intermittent traffic impacts along Massachusetts Avenue.
The Harvard Square Business Association will hold its 43rd Annual Oktoberfest from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Harvard Square will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., including JFK Street from Mt. Auburn to Mass Ave, Brattle Street from Mass Ave to Appian Way, Church Street from Mass Ave to Brattle Street, and Mount Auburn Street from Eliot to JFK. Expect traffic impacts in the entire area.
