Beginning Saturday, April 23, 2022, and continuing through Sunday, December 18, 2022, weather permitting, the DCR will open Riverbend Park (close Memorial Drive).
On Tuesday, April 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we will hold a third virtual community meeting to discuss updates to the plan for separated bike lanes on Mass Ave from Roseland St to Beech St in Porter Square in relation to the Cycling Safety Ordinance.
To provide additional time to process 2022 resident parking permit applications, the Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department has extended the expiration of 2021 Resident and Visitor Parking Permits to May 16, 2022.
Expect traffic impacts in the East and Mid Cambridge neighborhoods between 10:00-11:00 a.m. Both the 5K and 5-mile race will start in Kendall Square on Athenaeum Street.
This project will install separated bike lanes on Massachusetts Ave between Roseland St. and Beech St. This project will also consider methods to improve bus reliability and pedestrian safety.
Cambridge residents who have previously applied for and received either a 2021 Resident Parking Permit or a 2021 Visitor Parking Permit are encouraged to renew their permit(s) for 2022 early and online now. If you need to apply in person, please note that in-person renewals do not begin until January 3, 2022.
