Cool down under “SHADE” at Donnelly Field. Designed by local teens in collaboration with engineers, educator mentors, youth advocates and designers, SHADE is one of three temporary public art structures that have been installed across the as part of the City of Cambridge’s Shade Is Social Justice program to provide shade and seating, and to further the city’s efforts to address our warming world.
Join us for the 9th Annual Cambridge Jazz Festival on Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28, 2024, from noon to 6 p.m. each day, at Cambridge's Danehy Park.

This free community event includes Six Stages of Music, Theater, Dance and Poetry; Mermaid Promenade; Interactive Art-Making; Buskers; International Foods; Arts and Crafts Market.
The Arts Council Advisory Board provides guidance and advice on enhancing the lives of the residents of Cambridge through the arts; stimulates public awareness of the arts; and develops ways to improve the aesthetic experience of the people living, working, playing and passing through the city.
Join us in the Mermaid Promenade that kicks off this year's Cambridge Arts River Festival on the banks of the Charles River along Memorial Drive between JFK Street and Western Avenue on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
