Cambridge residents age 60 and older are invited to weekly Music Jam Sessions this spring! Whether you play an intrument or simply enjoy music, stop by a Jam Session on Monday evenings!
Beginning Friday, February 27, CYP is launching Community Friday Nights, a weekly program designed to bring neighbors of all ages together in a welcoming and positive environment. Join us at Russell Youth and Community Center every Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. for an evening filled with engaging activities, meaningful connections, and opportunities to build stronger relationships within the neighborhood and across the city.

The STEAM Initiative is co-leading a Math is a Civil Right movement alongside the Cambridge Public Schools Math Department and The Young People’s Project to advance Bob Moses’s belief that math is a civil right
In response to community feedback and participation, the Cambridge Council on Aging will continue to offer programming for Cambridge adults age 60 and older at the Russell Youth and Community Center, 680 Huron Ave. Older adults are also invited to enjoy the Center’s Common Area on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

This is made possible through a sustained partnership between the Cambridge STEAM Initiative and Cambridge Public Schools (CPS) - and the effort to expand robotics opportunities for elementary school children began with the Cambridge community.
