When analyzing the crime totals of August 2022 versus July 2022, there has been a modest rise of 3% in the number of index incidents with six more crimes reported. Analysis of the crime totals for the first eight months of 2022 indicates that violent crimes increased 29% when compared with 2021, with 56 additional crimes reported. Meanwhile, property crime decreased 1% with 13 fewer crimes counted through August 29th. Read More.
