Analysis of the crime totals for the first nine months of 2022 indicates that violent crimes increased 28% when compared with 2021, with 63 additional crimes reported. Property crime registered a slight increase of 3% with 47 additional crimes counted through the 3rd of October of 2022. 

When analyzing the serious crime totals of September 2022 versus August 2022, there has been a modest rise of 7% in the number of index incidents, with 17 more crimes reported. A key indicator this month was the 95% increase in bike thefts coinciding with the return of the students. Read More
