A review of serious crime incidents reported over the first ten months of 2022 indicates a moderate increase of 8% in the Part One Index total for Cambridge when compared with the same time period in 2021. When analyzing the serious crime totals of October 2022 versus the previous month of September 2022, there has been a modest decline of 8% in the number of index incidents, with 21 fewer crimes reported.
