Walden St Final Paving Postponed to September 21st

Beginning October 17th, weather permitting, the City’s contractor, E J Paving, will be performing partial roadway grinding and paving operations to enhance the road conditions on several sections of street around the City. The roadway grinding operation at each location is expected take two days followed by paving of the roadway later that same week, or the following week (weather permitting). For a list of street sections to be re-surfaced, please see below.

Partial Roadway Paving Enhancements Scheduled Beginning Week of July 28

Block Party season is here and the City of Cambridge is increasing grants to $300 for block parties in 2024 to help more neighborhoods hold celebrations.

A block party is a community event hosted on a City street by a group of neighbors, a non-profit organization, or an association. During a block party, a portion a single block is closed to through traffic.
