Sidewalk material options
  • It is the City’s policy to replace existing sidewalks with the same material (concrete with concrete, brick with wire cut brick). The main goal of the project is to create an accessible route for all users of the street. The plan includes new crosswalks on Parker Street at Buckingham Street and Concord Avenue, Healey Street at Buckingham Street and a raised intersection at Parker and Healey Streets.  Also new tress will be planted where possible based on the recommendations from the city arborist.

The plan was developed through a community process taking into consideration the input of the residents.
