Haggerty School Playground

December 2015

Crews have completed work on the Haggerty School Playground and the playground will be opened on Friday, December 11, 2015.


August 2015

Crews have mobilized to the project area and have erected the temporary construction fencing to secure the site. Fencing will be added or shifted as needed. The staging area will housed on Lawn Court. The contractor is currently excavating within the playground to begin the renovation process.

The City's Contractor, JNJ Sacca, will begin reconstructing the park during the month of July. The project will continue into winter 2015, weather permitting.

What to Expect During Construction

- General Work hours will be 7am-4pm, Monday thru Friday

- Truck Deliveries

- "No Parking" signs will be posted 24 hours in advance of the work

- During days with inclement weather, crews may not be on site

- Equipment, such as excavators, dump trucks, saws and other equipment will be needed to complete the project

In an effort to enhance the playground on school grounds at the Haggerty School, the following improvements will be made:

- New Play equipment reinforcing climbing and balancing

- Group swings

- Fencing improvements

- New playing surface

- Seating for groups

- CitySprouts garden

- Landscaping
