Spring Dates for Recycling Tours

Cambridge residents and City employees are invited to tour the Casella recycling facility in Charlestown on morning of Tuesday, April 16 or the afternoon of Wednesday, June 19 . No children under 16. Tours last about 2 hours and involve walking on narrow catwalks and stairs, close to heavy equipment. Please note that you must be walk at a steady pace with a group. We meet at the Department of Public Works and carpool to the facility.

For those who cannot make the tour to Casella’s recycling facility in Charlestown, we will also be offering a virtual tour at the Department of Public Works (147 Hampshire Street) on Monday, April 22 from 6pm-8pm and Tuesday, May 21 from 6pm-8pm. The virtual tour will be lead by the Cambridge Recycling Director.
