Annual Arbor Day Celebration

caution sign The information on this page may be outdated as it was published 8 years ago.

On Wednesday, May 6, The Department of Public Works celebrated Arbor Day with the Honorable David Maher, mayor of the City of Cambridge, and students from the Peabody middle school. As part of the celebration, the students and the mayor assisted the DPW Urban Forestry division by planting a tree on school property. In addition to planting trees, students were able to take a view and touch the trucks that the Urban Forestry division uses on a daily basis. Take a look at the video below to take a sneak peak as to what the day entailed.
