Cambridge Ranked “Top-Fixer” for the First Quarter of 2018 by SeeClickFix

In 2016, Cambridge launched Commonwealth Connect, powered by SeeClickFix, to connect residents directly to city departments to report issues around the city.

For the first quarter of 2018, SeeClickFix ranked Cambridge #1 in the amount of Requests Created and #1 in the amount of Requests Closed for a Medium-Sized Government (population 50,000-150,000). 

During this time period, the City closed 4,588 requests, ranging from pothole repairs to missed recycling pick-ups to graffiti clean-up requests.  Ann Arbor, MI came in at the #2 spot with 4,343 closed requests.

While the City is thrilled to be ranked in this top spot for number of Requests Closed, what’s perhaps more impressive is that we’re also ranked #1 in Requests Created – This means residents are actively involved in using Commonwealth Connect to report issues they see that need fixing. This kind of engagement from the public helps us address issues around the City and make Cambridge a better place to live, work, and visit.
