For the past six (6) years, the Department of Public Works has sponsored Team GreenSense, a worksite of the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program (MSYEP). Each summer the DPW employs 10-15 teens for six weeks to learn about and work on solving environmental problems both locally and globally.  Participants must be Cambridge residents and between the ages of 14-18 years old. Each week is dedicated to a specific sustainability topic such as climate change and urban sustainability, water conservation, waste management, renewable energy and green building.

Team GreenSense is part of the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program. Applications are available April 16, 2014 at the MYSEP website. Be sure to list Team GreenSense as your "specific requested worksite" on your application form. To learn more about the Team GreenSense Program, please click here.
