Annual Update on Combined Sewer Overflows

Please click here to review the notice that is required by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) as an annual update on the progress of Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) control measures that are underway to improve the water quality of Alewife Brook. Residents receive this notice if their property lies in the extended 100-year floodplain of Alewife Brook as established and currently in effect by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Public Works will begin distributing this notice the week of April 13th to residents residing in the floodplain. For more information please refer to the attached notice or contact Catherine Daly Woodbury at Public Works at 617.349.4818 or cwoodbury@cambridgema.gov.
