Summertime in the Village

It's 'Summertime in Huron Village' on Thursday, July 9th*, from 5pm-8pm!

To say thank you for your continued patience during the Alewife Sewer Separation construction project, and to help out our local businesses, we want to remind you and your family to stroll on down to Standish Street and Huron Avenue, for a little blue grass music by Best Ever Chicken, compliments of the City of Cambridge. Grab a chair, bring your neighbors, or simply wander through the Huron Village shops as you listen to the music. Project staff will be on hand (wearing our new blue hard hats) to answer any questions, along with a free bike tune-up tent and a sustainable transportation information table with free goodies. Enter into a free RAFFLE, to win one of the ten $25 gift cards to various Huron Village and Observatory Hill businesses. Good music, great local shops, and cool prizes? Sounds like a winning combination.

*In the event of inclement weather, call (617)498-4719 for updates.
