April May 2015 Recycling eNewsletter

Unwanted Furniture? Textiles? Donate it

Furniture: Moving this spring and can’t take it all? Plan ahead and get free pick up of clean and usable furniture, with the Coalition for the Homeless. They have extra pickup days in Cambridge from May 18 through June 4! Someone’s gonna love your stuff.  Complete online form for your good-condition furniture donations. They take kitchen tables & chairs, couches & sofa chairs, ottomans, hutches, end tables, coffee tables, bed frames, dressers, bookshelves, cabinets, rugs, lamps, dishes, pots & pans, and blankets & linens. You’ll help low-income and formerly homeless families furnish their apartments! For all 2015 pickup dates and other options, visit CambridgeMA.Gov/Furniture.

Textiles: Drop-off textiles (clothing, shoes, belts, purses, linens, stuffed animals, and fabric scraps) for reuse and recycling at drop boxes and local stores. Find the closest drop off location on our handy Donate Your Stuff map.
