City of Cambridge On-Street Parking Meter Rate Map

The City of Cambridge is increasing the rates that it costs to park at an on-street parking meter.  This rate increase is the first since 2008, and is going to be implemented on a rolling basis over the next two months until all parking meters have been updated citywide.

Some on-street meters in lower use areas will remain at the current rate of $1.00 per hour of parking time, while the citywide base rate for parking will increase up to $1.25 per hour of parking time.  The high demand parking area of Harvard Square will increase to $1.50 per hour of parking time to help encourage alternative modes of transportation to the business district as well as promoting turnover of these spaces to provide access to the businesses in the area.  Be sure to try the Pay By Phone mobile payment option if you are driving into, and parking in, Harvard Square!
