When parking in City lots, you must move your vehicle from that lot prior to being there for the posted amount of time which is either two or four hours depending on location and time of day. If your vehicle is parked for longer than the posted time limit, you are subject to receiving an overtime parking violation.

Payment Methods

In all City-owned lots, payments can be made via the PassportParking App. In Lot 12, payments can also be made with quarters. All other lots have multi-space pay stations that accept quarters and most major debit or credit cards. The multi-space pay stations are pay-by-plate, which means that you can pay and go. You do not need to display a receipt in your window.

EVSE Charging Stations

Each lot marked with [EVSE] has two dedicated parking spaces and one charging station that can charge two cars with a level 2 charge at the same time. City owned stations charge a rate of $0.189 per kWh drawn and $0.15 per hour. Learn more about electric vehicles in Cambridge.
