“The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” (1968) starring Alan Arkin, Sandra Locke, and Cicely Tyson. 

Taking place in the Deep South, this is a story of a Deaf man who rents a room in the home of 
a struggling family as their teen-age daughter is coming of age. This screening will be followed 
by a lively moderated audience discussion. Free light refreshments!
