The Cambridge Prevention Coalition is an innovative community-based organization linking substance abuse prevention to a range of health promotion initiatives.

The Coalition uses a community-based approach towards effecting change.  CPC focuses on reducing underage drinking by actively engaging youth and adults, as well as working closely with drug and alcohol treatment providers to reduce opioid overdoses and prescription drug abuse. The Coalition’s  activities involve youth, community residents and programs, local businesses, law enforcement, the License Commission, schools, media and universities.

The Coalition works to affect social norms around drug and alcohol use and provides educational workshops and training around various aspects of substance use and its impact in the community.
