The Cambridge Public Libraries have 60 circulating Nooks loaded with a selection of popular reading material that Cantabrigians love. Nooks are yours for 4 weeks, and available with titles for adults, teens and children at all locations.

Overdrive eReader Content
Overdrive offers a variety of fiction and nonfiction titles, for adults, teens and children for your eReader.

Cambridge patrons have the opportunity to choose from even more titles, thanks to Overdrive Advantage. We purchase extra copies of your favorite books just for Cambridge! Log into Overdrive with your library account to see even more available titles.

Mass eBook Project: more free digital content!
The Massachusetts Library System, in partnership with the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, has created a statewide eBook lending program, the Mass eBook Project. The Cambridge Public Library is excited to participate as a pilot library, but the content is available to anyone in Massachusetts.

The Mass eBook Project offers access to three new digital content platforms. Search one website or check them out individually! 

B&T 360 Axis from Baker and Taylor, the world’s largest distributor of books, digital content and entertainment products, provides materials that are completely ADA compliant and offers bestselling fiction and non-fiction reading material.

Biblioboard is an ecosystem that allows libraries and cultural institutions around the world to be able to curate, share and interactively explore information. The cover a wide range of topics, including Literature, Philosophy, History, Geography and Science. Browse interesting and rare materials, everything from comics to portions of the British Library’s collection.

EBL: EBL offers content across all academic and professional subject areas and features nearly 350,000 titles from hundreds of academic publishers, including the Dummies series and kids books.
